Journalistic and literary writing may not always hack it in the world of advertising.   While they can create original written works, a special breed of creative writers for the advertising industry called copywriters have become increasingly in demand to bring the brand message and capture market notice which can create demand for the brand.  This applies to all media in advertising – broadcast, print and the internet. A copywriter’s basic responsibility is to create persuasive advertising copy and the job  can vary depending on the nature of the employer’s advertising coverage.
