The main responsibilities of an auto technician are simply maintaining, modifying, repairing and installing electrical fixtures and wirings on all sorts of vehicles. One must be highly skilled, and should be perfectly knowledgeable about automobiles and electrical systems. An auto electrician should also be capable of diagnosing problems in the major electrical systems of trucks, cars and motors such as the battery, electronic fuel injection, the ignition, anti-lock braking, fixtures, general wiring and cruise control.  At all times, one should always pay close attention to what a vehicle owner is complaining about in order to fully understand and determine the problem of the car.
